One of our volunteers, Mary Jo Truman, won the $500 shopping spree at Macy’s last year just by buying a $5 shopping pass for “Shop For A Cause.” You too might by the lucky winner for this year’s event – all you have to do is buy a pass(es) by calling our office at 330-746-4600. We are trying to sell 300 passes this year as one of our fundraisers. We have been very successful in the past years, and with your help will be again in 2013. Many of us think that July is “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” But many like a “Winter Wonderland” when “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.” So let’s have Christmas in July! We can “Deck the Halls,” take a “Sleigh Ride,” ring “Silver Bells,” or build a “Frosty the Snowman.” Even in the middle of summer, we can still celebrate the spirit of Christmas and “Bring Joy to the World” or at least the part of it we call home. “O Come all ye Faithful” and respond to the needs of Protestant Family Service by giving your gift to our ministry of helping many during their time of crisis. The Lord gave us a rich blessing in the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. Let us give a rich blessing to others and celebrate Christmas in July.
